Blood donation campaign - “Fund Heart”

Dear all, the traditional blood donation campaign - “Fund Heart” was held today. This blood donation campaign is held every year on the premises of the Health Insurance Fund. Organised as such, this campaign began in 2013, primarily for employees of the Head Office and the Skopje Regional Service, and is held towards the end of October or the beginning of November. This year, approximately 60 employees donated blood through this campaign. The HIF, as always, remains a promoter of blood donation as the most humane act in society.

- “I am particularly proud of my colleagues who have embraced this campaign as their own, as well as because of the fact that the campaign is one of the few activities for which there is no division on any grounds. I would like to thank the Red Cross, as well as the Institute of Transfusion Medicine. At the same time, I would like publicly to thank the female colleagues who actively participated and participate in organising this campaign - Sanja Stojchevska Abutikj, Miranda Bekjiri, Katarina Naumovska and Emilija Mladenovska. This year, together with Director Sasho, we decided to encourage employees who are donating blood for the first time, including the youngest employees, by rewarding them with a symbolic monetary award. At the same time, I would like to announce that next year, 2025, on the HIF's birthday on 17 October, “Fund Heart” will also take place in the Fund's largest regional services and persons who are not employees will also be able to register. Of course, all this will be implemented with appropriate promotional support. Given the fact that the HIF is present in 30 cities and housed in 31 facilities, a permanent committee will be formed that will be able independently to take care of the logistics of this campaign” - stated Branko Adzhigogov, Acting Director of the HIF.

- “I am fulfilled by the unity of the employees of the HIF, who, without any help from us, organised and carried out this blood donation campaign themselves. As Director Branko mentioned, the next blood donation campaign on the HIF's birthday will be carried out at the level of all HIF employees, and the Director of the HIF will be the patron. With this, I hope a new spirit will be introduced and it will be established as a practice not only for us but also for all future directors” - stated Sasho Klekovski, Acting Director of the HIF.
