Notice regarding new forms for laboratories

In order to unify operations and provide proper guidance to insured persons for obtaining appropriate services, we remind you that, in agreement with family doctors, an expansion has been made to the services covered by the LU1 form. The purpose of the expansion is to strengthen primary healthcare and the early detection and diagnosis of diseases. The biochemical analyses by which the LU1 referral has been expanded are the following: Glucose tolerance test (OGTT), Glycated haemoglobin (HbA1C) and Thyroid-stimulating hormone (TSH).

The Health Insurance Fund of Macedonia, in agreement with general practitioners, has expanded the objectives that general practitioners need to achieve, with the aim of strengthening primary healthcare and early diagnosis of diseases
