Warning of Phishing Fraud from the fzom.net Website
The Health Insurance Fund of Macedonia (HIFM) informs the public of a serious phishing fraud being carried out through a fake website at fzom.net. This website presents itself as the official HIFM website (fzo.org.mk) and aims to steal citizens’ personal and financial data.
DANGER OF THE FRAUD
Through this website, fraudsters are attempting to deceive citizens into entering their:
- Personal data (name, surname, personal identification number, address);
- Health insurance data;
- Bank account and credit card data;
- Usernames and passwords.
WARNINGS AND RECOMMENDATIONS
HIFM categorically warns citizens not to enter their personal data on the website. The official website of the Fund is exclusively fzo.org.mk.
- Check the web address carefully before entering any personal data.
- Do not click on links from suspicious emails or messages.
- Do not share your usernames and passwords with anyone.
- Report any suspicious activities to HIFM or to the nearest police station.
- The official HIFM website will never ask you to enter bank details.

HIFM is already taking measures to block this fake website and protect citizens. The Fund is cooperating with the competent authorities to identify and punish the perpetrators of this fraud.
