Participation of Director General Sasho Klekovski at a cancer conference in Bucharest

Today in Bucharest, organised by the Senate and the Government of Romania, an event dedicated to cancer care was held, attended by representatives from the EU and several European countries, as well as a delegation from Macedonia. 

The dialogue focused on improving European cooperation in the fight against cancer, common challenges and the optimisation of available resources and expertise. 

A joint Declaration was signed. Several bilateral meetings were held on the margins, including with Oliver Bleck, Roche's head for Southern Europe.

The Macedonian delegation consists of Igor G. Nikolov, adviser to the Prime Minister on health reforms, Sonja Genadieva Stavrikj, Director of the Haematology Clinic, Igor Stojkovski, Director of the Radiology and Oncology Clinic, Aleksandra Ivanovska, Roche Macedonia, and Sasho Klekovski, Director General of the Health Insurance Fund of Macedonia.
