The HIF system is operational; payment of sick leave, maternity leave and reimbursements has begun

Almost all modules of the HIFRNM have been put into operation. IT experts are finalising the processes and functionalities, and payment of sick leave, maternity leave and various reimbursements has therefore begun. 

Insured persons are expected to receive the funds in stages in their accounts during tomorrow and on Wednesday. This means that payment of sick leave entered by 05.02.2023 will begin immediately. The data on sick leave submitted after this date will begin to be entered in the Regional Offices so that they too can enter the regular payment system. 

The DRG system is also being restored to operation, (which is a system for recording hospital services) about which the public will be informed in a timely manner.
