The Fund requested the data from all PHIs by Monday; we expect payment of salaries for healthcare workers to begin next week

The HIFRNM informs the public that, in coordination with the public health institutions, the necessary documentation for payment of salaries is expected to be collected by Monday at the latest, with the aim of paying healthcare workers’ salaries as soon as possible. If all PHIs meet this deadline, in accordance with the protocol for payment of salaries, payment is expected as early as next week.

On this occasion, the Fund thanks all healthcare workers for their patience and appeals for further cooperation, bearing in mind that the technical teams are working continuously and every day.

We assure the public that we are using all available capacities and the knowledge of all internal and external IT experts for whom there is a legal possibility, and with the temporary solutions that the Fund is operationalising in the short term, some of the problems are being overcome, in particular enabling the system to function under conditions of a cyber attack.

We would like to use this occasion once again to confirm that the analysis by the expert technical teams established that during the cyber attack there was no data leakage outside the Fund’s databases.

At the same time, we note that, with regard to the payment of sick leave, maternity leave and reimbursement, once the system is fully operational all obligations of the HIF towards insured persons, as well as towards health institutions, will be paid.

The Fund’s regional offices are functioning in accordance with the recommendations and are continuously receiving applications, while the HIFRNM controllers are already beginning field inspections related to the implementation of all shared instructions and operating guidelines.

All insured persons may contact the regional offices without interruption, which are also available by telephone through publicly announced information lines for insured persons, and obtain information regarding all solutions agreed with family doctors through which insured persons can exercise their right to healthcare.

The Fund will inform the public in a timely and continuous manner about all newly established information of interest to citizens.
