HIFRNM: Citizens’ right to health care is not at risk.

HIFRNM informs the public that citizens’ right to health care is not at risk; treatments, referrals for examinations and sick leave, the issuing of prescriptions by general practitioners, as well as the dispensing of medicines to citizens are proceeding without interruption, and citizens can use these health services without delay. Solutions for exercising the right to urgent orthopaedic aids have also been agreed together with the orthopaedic suppliers.  

The regional offices of the Fund are continuously receiving applications. In addition, the regional offices are also available by telephone through publicly announced information lines for insured persons, which they may contact and receive information regarding all decisions coordinated with general practitioners, through which insured persons may exercise their right to health care. 

The technical teams are working to restore the salary payment system for health workers as quickly as possible in order to comply with the statutory payment deadlines, as well as for other forms of payment, namely sick leave, maternity leave and reimbursements. 

The Fund will inform the public in a timely and continuous manner of all newly established information that is of interest to citizens.
