Announcement to health institutions and pharmacies on the method for checking health insurance after 5 February
For insured persons for whom payment of the health insurance contribution has not been registered in the My Appointment system after 05.02.2023, the Fund will, ex officio, provide proof of paid contribution from the PRO system.
For this purpose, health institutions/pharmacies should submit the request for checking the paid contribution for insured persons every working day to the email address of the authorised officials listed below. Health institutions/pharmacies should send a request to only one email address in the Regional Office where they submit invoices for performed healthcare services. The checked data on the paid contribution shall be submitted by the authorised official of the Fund to the email address of the person from the health institution who requested it, as soon as possible, with priority given to urgent requests.
Health institutions should not check paid contributions for the following category of insured persons:
- pensioners;
- persons who are health insured through the MLSP;
- persons health insured as unemployed through the Ministry of Health;
The basis of insurance is checked by inspecting the health insurance booklet. Pharmacies may check the basis of insurance on the prescription form.
NOTE: If the provided healthcare service/medicine to be issued relates to a family member (insured person), then the health institution/pharmacy should check the paid contribution for the insurance holder (the insured person).
Please submit your requests to only one email address in the relevant Regional Unit, for better visibility and a faster response.
