Political dialogue on the Positive List of Medicines - opportunities and challenges
A political dialogue to discuss the opportunities and challenges in the process of revising the Positive List of Medicines was held today at the Government. The high-level political dialogue was attended by Prime Minister Hristijan Mickoski, Minister of Health Arben Taravari, Minister of Finance Gordana Dimitrieska-Kochoska, the Directors General of the Health Insurance Fund Sasho Klekoski and Branko Adzhigogov, senior representatives of the World Health Organization, experts and other key stakeholders in the creation of health policies.
The Health Insurance Fund, together with the Government and the Ministry of Health, will continue to work on ways to finance the introduction of new medicines to the Positive List.
Director General Sasho Klekovski spoke on MTV news about the expansion of the Positive List of Medicines for the first time in more than a decade, and about the problems and plans of the Health Insurance Fund.
