Marked "Women's Health Week"

The Macedonian Association of Gynaecologists and Obstetricians-MAGO marked “Women's Health Week” as part of the campaign to provide better institutional protection for women and professional health information on all preventive examinations. The project “Mobile Gynaecological Clinics” was also presented at the event, and the development of a new strategy for the HPV vaccine in the RNM was also discussed, whereby boys would also be routinely vaccinated against HPV.

The panel discussion was addressed by Prof. Dr Gligor Tofoski, Prof. Dr Goran Dimitrov, Assoc. Prof. Dr Daniela Ivanova Panova and Prof. Dr Ana Daneva Markova, who presented MAGO's activities and campaigns to date and in the future, which, together with several relevant institutions and organisations, are beginning a process of continuous education on women's health and encouraging social change in this area.

The event was attended by Mrs Elizabeta Gjorgievska-wife of the President of the Republic of North Macedonia, Assoc. Prof. Dr Vladimir Rendevski-Deputy Minister of Health, Mrs Magdalena Filipovska Grashkoska -Director General of the Health Insurance Fund, representatives of the Ministry of Labour and Social Policy, the Ministry of Interior, the Ministry of Education and Science, representatives from the faculties at Ss. Cyril and Methodius University, representatives of the Macedonian Medical Association, the non-governmental sector and pharmaceutical companies.
