The Health Insurance Fund enables the exercise of the right to orthopaedic aids, for which it allocates a significant amount of financial resources annually, providing 406 types of orthopaedic and other aids, that is, 1210 aids from different manufacturers. As of 31 October 2016, the Fund had concluded contracts with 31 orthopaedic companies on the territory of Macedonia, which had a network of 111 specialised shops. The financial resources that the Fund has planned for orthopaedic aids increase every year, so in 2016, 550 million denars have been planned.
