From 11 June this year, the list of medicines by brand names borne by the Fund will be expanded by adding 80 new brand names of medicines, from 23 different manufacturers1 and companies, within the existing generics, which is 4% more medicines for insured persons than before. With this, the total number of medicines from different manufacturers available to insured persons and borne by the Fund amounts to 2010 medicines or 52% of the medicines registered in the country.
