Visit to the laboratory of the Faculty of Pharmacy

The Health Insurance Fund of Macedonia will pay the largest part of the amount required for more than 30 types of tests on the effects of the medicines received by patients, primarily those with malignant diseases, but not limited only to them, which will be carried out in the laboratory for biomolecular pharmaceutical analyses at the Faculty of Pharmacy. Until now, patients paid high financial amounts for these tests, some of them up to 11.000 denars, and now they will be carried out only with a co-payment, which means that the amount they need to pay for them is reduced many times over. The highest co-payment will probably be around 1.000 denars, and this is provided for in the agreement concluded today by the Faculty of Pharmacy and the HIFM. This is the first agreement concluded between the HIFM and the Faculty of Pharmacy for the provision of services related to patients.
