News and Relief for Over 1900 Patients - Users of Orthopaedic Aids

The Health Insurance Fund of Macedonia, at the request of the association of persons with a stoma - Ilkoma, and on the occasion of the International Day of Persons with a Stoma 03.10.2015, adopted a decision that will provide relief for over 1900 insured persons with colostomy, ileostomy and urostomy, who from 01.12.2015 will be able to collect quantities for three months from orthopaedic suppliers. These are patients suffering from the most severe and malignant diseases and, due to their health condition, have artificial openings - stomas. Because of this health condition, they must use orthopaedic aids - bags - on a daily basis, which replace a particular bodily function. Without these bags, patients are unable to function normally in everyday life.
