Facilitation for general practitioners - less bureaucracy for more efficient preventive health care

The Health Insurance Fund, together with the Association of Private Doctors of Macedonia, informs about the new software with which we will improve and facilitate the work of general practitioners, and which relates to the field of prevention that they already implement. In agreement with the Health Fund, general practitioners in general practice are obliged to implement measures and activities for prevention and early detection of the three most common non-communicable diseases in the Republic of Macedonia - cardiovascular diseases, diabetes and nephrological diseases. These preventive measures are implemented for 1.3 million insured persons aged 14-65.
