Announcement on pharmacy stations
We would like to inform you that the Health Insurance Fund yesterday signed contracts with new pharmacies, pharmacy stations and mobile pharmacies, 21 in total, on the territory of the Republic of Macedonia. For all new contracted partners, we established quotas that begin to apply from 1 July 2015. Of the newly signed contracts, 5 are mobile pharmacies, the aim of which is to supply medicines in rural areas with at least one health worker, a pharmaceutical technician. The new 5 mobile pharmacies are for the following areas: village of Vrapchishte – Gostivar (covers 29 settlements); village of Rostushe, Municipality of Mavrovo (covers 64 settlements); village of Mogila, Municipality of Mogila (covers 115 settlements); Municipality of Bogovinje – Tetovo (covers 17 settlements); village of Brvenica, Municipality of Tetovo (covers 35 settlements). The population covered by the 5 new mobile pharmacies and the number of citizens who will have easier access to medicines amounts to 33,786 citizens. The total annual quota that the Fund will allocate for these pharmacies is 3,8 million denars.
