Working visit to a pharmacy station in the Municipality of Lozovo
The Director of the Health Insurance Fund, Sasho Stefanoski, and Director Orhan Ramadani, together with the Minister of Health, Nikola Todorov, as part of the project for opening pharmacies in rural areas, today visited the pharmacy station which has already been operating for one year on the premises of the health centre in the village of Lozovo, and which recently also concluded an agreement with the HIFM for prescription medicines. As Minister Nikola Todorov explained, this enables the residents of Lozovo, in addition to health care from their family doctors, to obtain in one place the medicines needed for the prescribed therapy. With this project for opening pharmacy stations in settlements of up to 3,5 thousand inhabitants, under the published competition for 66 pharmacy stations in Macedonia, and which, in accordance with the law, applies to those pharmacy companies that had more than two pharmacies in one municipality or five at state level, they are obliged under this project to open at least one more pharmacy in a rural area, Minister Todorov emphasised.
