New software solution for exercising health insurance rights for freelance workers

The Health Insurance Fund of Macedonia, in cooperation with the Ministry of Health, the Ministry of Finance and the Pension and Disability Insurance Fund of Macedonia, harmonised a procedure for exercising health insurance rights for freelance workers. For that purpose, the Fund made amendments to the Rulebook on the content and manner of exercising the rights and obligations arising from compulsory health insurance, concluded an Annex to the agreement with the PDIFM for electronic data exchange and developed software for electronic processing and calculation of the duration of health insurance.
