The 19th workshop for educating pensioners about their health insurance rights held in Kumanovo

Our insured persons who have initiated a procedure for exercising the right to a pension will be able, from next year, to use their health insurance rights for a further 60 days after termination of employment. Until now, in practice, these insured persons, from the day of submitting the request to exercise the right to a pension until the day of receiving the decision establishing their right to a pension, had a discontinuity in the use of health insurance due to the longer procedure conducted by the Pension and Disability Insurance Fund. With today's amendments, the future pensioner is enabled to have continuous health insurance for a further 60 days, even though they have not yet received a decision on exercising the right to a pension, stated the Director of the HIF, M.Sc. Maja Parnardzhieva-Zmejkova, at today's educational workshop for pensioners in Kumanovo
