Marking European Organ Donation Day – address by the Director of the HIF, MSc Maja Parnardzhieva-Zmejkovz

It is extremely important for each of us to find at least five minutes and speak with the members of our family about the importance of saving someone’s life. Organ donation is the pinnacle of humanity and precisely for that reason, the Fund is working with dedication on several projects through which organ donors have been equated with blood donors and they will not pay co-payment for health services. At the same time, the HIF is focused on prevention, through the prevention project, in cooperation with selected doctors, to raise public awareness of kidney diseases.
