Expansion of the range of prescription medicines borne by the HIF for on-call services

The Health Insurance Fund wishes to provide information about three new developments in the area of prescription medicines. The first new development concerns prescription medicines prescribed by an on-call doctor. From 1 September 2014, doctors in on-call medical services in health centres will be able to prescribe, on prescription borne by the HIF, four more medicines by generic name.
