Working visit by the Director of the HIFM, MSc Maja Parnardzhieva - Zmejkova, to Gevgelija, Valandovo and Dojran

The General Hospital in Gevgelija, in the past four years, from the aspect of financial operation, has been the most successful general hospital, according to the economic parameters that the Fund monitors through financial controls. This is the impression of the Director of the Health Insurance Fund of Macedonia, MSc Maja Parnardzhieva-Zmejkova, from her visit today to the General Hospital in Gevgelija, where she and her team met with the head of this health institution, Dr Sretko Jovanov, and requested that the prudent operation of the management team continue. From Director Jovanov she had the opportunity personally to receive information about the grant from the IPA funds in the amount of 430.000 euros for the modernisation and improvement of services. Parnardzhieva-Zmejkova also pointed out that, when it comes to emergency cases, patients should not be turned away, but should immediately be provided with the necessary health service.
