Marking HIF Day

On 30 June 2000, the Government of the Republic of Macedonia decided to establish the largest financially independent institution that would take care of the provision of health services. On 17 October 2013, the Assembly of the Republic of Macedonia voted in the first Management Board of the HIF. On this day 13 years ago, that is, on 31 October 2000, the Management Board of the HIF submitted a proposal to the Government of the Republic of Macedonia for the appointment of a Director of the Health Insurance Fund of Macedonia, which resulted in the HIF beginning work as an independent institution.
