Conditional Fees (Conditional Budgets) for Public Health Institutions

The introduction of conditional fees for the first time in April 2011 proved to be a successful story in Macedonian healthcare, and the HIF and all patient associations with which the HIF regularly communicates assessed this innovation as extremely positive. Therefore, in this 2013 year as well, the HIF, in accordance with information received from cooperation with patient associations regarding areas where encouragement/stimulation of PHIs is needed, continues the practice of agreeing conditional budgets, as well as expanding the type and scope of health services where there is an opportunity and interest.
