Notice on the Price of Tests for Coronavirus Covid – 19

In relation to the information circulating on portals and social networks concerning health services and the reference prices of the Health Insurance Fund, we would like to inform you of the following:

1. In laboratory activity, there are several different techniques for detecting infectious agents, such as: - serological tests in which antibodies to the infectious agent are detected - molecular tests in which the presence of the agent itself is detected, in this case the virus
2. In accordance with the above, the Fund has also established health services for laboratory activity depending on the technique used in the health institutions that have an agreement with the Fund, and which relate to infections with the coronavirus Covid-19
